Building the narratives, launches, and newsrooms that make developer platforms impossible to ignore.

Content and brand leadership for high-growth developer & AI/ML platforms and tools.

I've led content, PR, and brand strategy inside companies like CodeRabbit, LaunchDarkly, and GitLab, running category-defining launches, Tier-1 media moments, and the editorial engines behind them. My background started in newsrooms, and that training still shapes how I work. I move at the speed of startups, lead with editorial rigor and integrity, and ship stories that capture an audience.

Turning a $143M Series C Into a Category Moment

CodeRabbit, Head of Brand, Content & Communications

When CodeRabbit was ready to announce its Series C fundraise, the company also wanted to launch its new Security agent and roll out "Agentic Change Management" as a new product category. I ran the full content, PR, and communications program for the Series C announcement, the product launch, and the new category rollout, landing Tier-1 business and tech coverage, wire syndication, on-camera interviews, investor alignment, and a full-funnel content suite of launch videos and blog posts that carried the narrative past launch day.

Producing NASDAQ's First Publicly Livestreamed IPO

GitLab, Manager, Digital Production

When GitLab went public, we didn't just ring the bell. We opened the entire listing day to the world, allowing every team member, customer, and user to participate in the milestone event. I devised the production plan and led the teams behind the first publicly livestreamed IPO in NASDAQ's history, producing a 4+ hour-long broadcast. Below you will also find links to a selection of blog posts and videos I produced during my time at GitLab.

Building LaunchDarkly's Content Engine From the Ground Up

LaunchDarkly, Head of Content Marketing

There was no proper content marketing function at LaunchDarkly when I joined the team. So I built one from the ground up with in-house writers, freelancers, and agencies, and built the company's first content performance reporting system to track metrics. That hands-on approach helped drive a 3x increase in press mentions for LaunchDarkly's annual benchmark report. I also overhauled video production at LaunchDarkly-owned events, directing our video team to capture compelling interviews with speakers and attendees for evergreen content. Along the way, I co-edited the company's O'Reilly book, Operating Continuously, and co-produced its developer podcast, The Dev Morning Show at Night.

Turning a Local Blog Into a Trusted National News Source

Progress Illinois, Editor in Chief & Publisher

Before "content strategy" was a job title, I was running one from scratch -- and in a big way. I took Progress Illinois from a scrappy political blog to a respected news outlet that was part of the accredited press invited to presidential and political election-night headquarters, with our live coverage featured on MSNBC. Original reporting from Progress Illinois regularly became source material for larger outlets, including Politico, The Nation, and the Chicago Tribune. As news chief, I owned the editorial direction, video production, social growth, budget, advertising, and people operations for Progress Illinois and managed the engineering team behind the site.
